Taken on a wet autumn day in Dinorwig Quarry, North Wales. Whilst walking down to the Anglesey Barracks, we spotted a Welsh Mountain Goat on top of the slate in the distance. I quickly grabbed my camera from my bag and took this photo as he posed away. Won the judges favourite on the Countryfile Calendar Competition for 2025 and featured as the October image.
